In the center of Agiasos, in Lesvos, is the church of the Assumption of the Virgin. The church is known mainly for the miraculous icon of Panagia Vrefokratousa. The church houses an Ecclesiastical Museum with an important collection of manuscripts, utensils and other ecclesiastical objects.
